Nairobi Convention is contributing to the following outputs:

1. Support development of the plan for the Regional Ocean Governance Strategy (ROGS).
2. Support capacities (national to regional) for sustainable blue Economy (SBE) policy and strategy development models and coordinating institutional.
3. Support the development of regional Marine Spatial Planning across the region.
4. Strengthening and expanding the scope of the Nairobi Convention Clearing House Mechanism (information sharing platform).

EFCA is contributing to the following outputs:

1. Support operational coordination and strengthen national/regional fisheries’ monitoring, control and surveillance (MCS) capacity and cooperation.
2. Training at national and regional levels for inspectors and MCS staff on priority topics.
3. Assist in developing and improving legal and institutional frameworks.

IOC is contributing to the following outputs:

1. Fisheries Monitoring, Control and Surveillance Operational Coordination Centre (FMCSOCC) management structure established.
2. Roadmap for the Regional Fisheries Surveillance Plan and operational and technical activity planning completed.
3. Improved fisheries data sharing through the upgraded StaRFISH web-based MCS.

Expertise France is contributing to the following outputs:

1. Support Regional Fisheries Management Organizations (RFMOs) and their members to improve the fisheries data collection, management, and protection.
2. Enhance the production, dissemination and use of scientific knowledge on stocks and species under RFMOs’ mandate.
3. Strengthen Member States’ capacities to comply RFMO resolutions and obligations.
